ISRO is an national space agency of India and its headquarters in Bengaluru. It was work on space exploration. It was established in August 1969. It was firstly known as INCOSPAR(Indian National Committee for Space Research) which was set up in 1962 under the Department of Atomic Energy and then it become ISRO in 1969. The current CEO is Sreedhara Panicker Somanath, he is an Indian Aerospace Engineer.
First chairperson of ISRO which first known as INCOSPAR is Vikram Sarabhai. ISRO first spacecraft was Aryabhata which launched on 19 April, 1975. It was designed by India and launched by Soviet Kosmos-3M rocket from Kapustin Yar.
